When I was fifteen, I had to get a pre-cancerous mole removed. The chest is an area that does not heal as well as other areas of the body. Unbeknownst to me, I scar easily. In addition, I left the stitches in longer than needed, so that probably did not help the heeling process. I used to be embarrassed about my scar and would avoid wearing anything that would reveal it. Now I could care less. In fact, I kind of like it.
