This scar on my forearm is quite ironic. Seeing as I am an avid dog lover, it was that same creature that gifted me with this mark. Visiting a new friend, I was attacked at the doorway by a large American bulldog, who sunk his fangs into me before I could register what was happening. A friend of the boy I was visiting had to yank the dog off me. I didn't realize that the wound was serious until my arm was gushing blood. I'm one of those people who need to show strength in all situations, even if it would be normal, even human, to cry, show pain, show some emotion. I now have a mild fear of big dogs, but my beloved golden retriever helps me conquer it.
