This scar is something very significant to my family and I. When I was 5 years old, my family and I went on vacation to Niagara Falls. By the time we got there I had fallen asleep and my father took me into his arms and was carrying me to our rooms for the night. While carrying me in his arms, he also had a lit cigarette in his mouth. Walking, the cigarette burned my arm hence the scar. That night my father was traumatized. He had never imagined his bad habits could ever hurt his family, his one and only daughter. That night my father was determined to quit no matter what. His life as a smoker for 20 years came to an end. From then on, he started his new life of healthy lungs.
