This is my old buddy, Knee. Knee takes a lot of impact and damage for me, but stays faithful none the less. In this photo of Knee you can see some of the longer lasting damage Knee puts up with. The long scar in the middle of Knee happened at the bottom of the 6th inning of a rec. league softball game. I slide into 3rd base, forgetting that this was a rec. league that wasn't all that competitive, and caught a pebble on the way. I didn't feel it but Knee was left with a gaping wound about _ of an inch wide and 2 inches long that was in the middle of a patch of dirt rash that was 2 inches by 2 inches. It was the one of the worst cuts Knee has ever encountered. You can see some of the other scars on my knee but they are not as dramatic as the one in this photo.
