My two sisters, Jennifer and Sarah, and I were driving to visit my Grandmother. A five hour drive and my niece, who I love dearly, was only 5 months hold and decided to scream like a banshee. We stopped in a side lot at a gas station to get her out of her car seat. Sandwiched between the screaming kid and Sarah, I muttered something about how I wished I could run away.

"Well you can't run away, but you could run across the parking lot and throw away my banana peel," said Jennifer from the front seat.

So I did, and I was wearing little gold flats which don't mix with rough top concrete.

A trucker asked if I'd been hit by a car because I was bleeding so badly. Needless to say, we had to turn around. But not before Sarah bought the little gas station's entire stock of band aids, rubbing alcohol, and a large Corona.

So this is my scar. It's the most obvious one. There's two more on my other knee, one on top of my foot, and also in both palms. So much for trying to run away...
