Her: You know what we never finished?
Him: What, painting the basement?
Her: No.
Him: Watching Dune?
Her: No. That conversation.
Him: Which?
Her: Take a wild guess. The one about us.
Him: Ohh..
Her: It looks like you've decided it's over between us, but I need to know for my own sanity: what does she have that I don't have?
Him: I don't know.
Her: Too bad. I guess it's your loss then, because I really love you, whether or not you chose to see it, I do.
Him: You say crazy things.
Her: How is that crazy?
Him: That I don't care and I don't see things.
Her: That's not what I said. I said, "Whether or not you saw it," and if you did see it, why did you go with another girl, then?
Him: If I knew, I would tell you. I don't.
Her: Right. I guess it's your loss then. Like I said, I did love you.
