1> On January 2, I am born during the first half of the Orange Bowl, which had to be moved to the 2nd because the 1st fell on a Sunday, thus creating a possible scheduling conflict between the NFL and college sports.
2> Sometime around October, my father gets a VHS camcorder, which he uses to record family events such as my first christmas, my cousin's first birthday, and at one point, a Seagull flying around Birch Bay for more than a minute.
3> Seattle-centered sketch-comedy show "Almost Live!", which my friend Jeff's dad will watch religiously, sometimes interrupting our late-night videogaming sessions 12 years later, begins its 15-year run.
4> The house that I wil live in 21 years later turns 59 years old.
5> I suck my right thumb often, and when I do so, I simultaneously reach around the back of my head with my left hand and grab onto my right ear.
