1. we moved from the city to my mom's hometown.
2. my mom's parents won a trip to england off of a cornflakes box, my parents went and left us alone with my dad's parents. all i remember is my mom telling me about how the queen's horse bit her hand and it bled.
3. i started nursery school in a church basement, and we got to ride on all terrain vehicles with helmets that were too big.
4. new kids moved onto my once barren street and then they all turned on me.
5. i became obessed with the "thriller" album by michael jackson, and i got the vinyl for christmas that year.
