	| (These are quotations from my childhood diary in 1984.)
 1. March 1, 1984: We did a book report on Judy Blume's "Blubber." I was Linda, the so-called "Blubber." My pillows kept falling out, and it was horrible. Whats worse, when I tried pushing them in, every one saw my under pants and burst out laughing.
 2. March 15, 1984: I'm misserable, sick, and I have to drink Tylonal. I'm dieing. (Just kidding.) I watched The Brady Bunch, What's Happening, and Mork and Mindy.
 3. September 26, 1984: Heather had a birthday party at school but there was only bad candy. We got sweet tarts, BLEH, bit-o-honey, BLAH, and pixie stix, BLAH!
 4. November 8, 1984: Today I picked up a few of Richie's leggos laying around the house. I made a dog in a cap that covered his eyes. Richie yelled at me because he said I wrecked his boat.
 5. November 22, 1984: It's Thanksgiving. Today Richie wouldn't stop singing songs with "arf" for words. He kept singing Michael Jackson's "Thriller" as "Arfer." "Cause this is arfer, arfer night!"
