This is the inside of my fridge

When my landlord was married in the seventies, this was a wedding gift to him & his new bride. That marriage produced three boys and a girl and this refridgerator housed the family's perishables throughout all those years: first the food-stuffs of newlyweds, then baby formulas, later on the fixings for brown bag lunches. When I moved in it had been some time after the wife and children had left.

It was the refridgerator of two single men, the 40-ounce beer had been in the fridge for who-knows how long, and miraculously was well-preserved. I don't consume many things that need to be refridgerated so I admit to having little to contribute to the emptiness.

A month ago a new fridge was moved in and this one was moved over to the restaurant the landlord owns, where it's now happily full again, serving as extra storage for dairy products and seafood.
