FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 17, 2007 marked the end of the ever-amazing and short lived romance between Eliza Rosemary Sarlos and Erin, who does not really have a middle name, Riley, both of Sydney, Australia. The decision, on the part of an almost pathologically stubborn Eliza, is said to have nothing to do with "not loving" but that it was all about her. Eliza, holidaying in Barcelona and available only through skype, has stated emphatically and unequivocally that it has nothing to do with geography and believes that the only way to deal with her internal conflicts is to be on her own. Erin, a social work student with exams looming, is dumbfounded by the news and has been particularly affected by the unexpected and untimely dumping, choosing to satirically write about her experience for LTLYM as a coping mechanism. "Ideally, it'd be nice for this to be worked out in the context in which it began," said Erin, who added that "it seems crazy for a situation in which love exists to exclude all other possibilities but this very finite one." While Erin admits that she thinks that their relationship was very separate to Eliza's worldly concerns, and right now, feels particularly empty and lost, has decided that respecting Eliza's immediate wishes is currently the only course of action. Excited about seeing Jenny, one of the counsellors at the University of Sydney's student services office, Erin plans to "get herself in order" but remains vaguely hopeful that Eliza stays true to form and has an "reverse epiphany" when she returns from overseas.
