I have been an atheist all my life. I do believe that we are spiritual but I do not believe in a god or a higher being. I do not know if that would make me agnostic.
I do not personally understand why people are buried. So, I would like to be cremated:
Have a little intimate service for me with only very close family members and friends. Don't stew over my death too much, do not cry. rejoice in my life and talk about happy things and incidents.
Cremate my body, but before doing that, try and donate my eyes and other organs that might help someone else have an easier, healthier life.
I do not know where I would like my ashes scattered yet. Somewhere beautiful and peaceful would be my thoughts, feel free to think about an appropriate place. I am sure my ashes will be thankful.
Lastly, move on with your lives and remember me in happy times. That is all I ask.
