Assignment #64
Teach us an exercise.

I took a tai chi class my freshman year of college, and it was my favorite exercise ever. it helps with balance, strengthens leg muscles A LOT, eases cramps, and can be used for self-defence. The hardest exercise we did was actually a warm-up, to get our legs warm and our muscles used to working. This is the exercise I want to teach you. After I took this class my legs were incredibly strong, which is cool because they're really skinny. I can also stand on one leg and move around a lot and not fall down very much at all. Here's how you do it.

Bend your knees a little. This is called "sitting on your knees." The more adept you get at this move, the lower you can bend. for now, just bend enough that when you stand that way for more than ten seconds you can feel your thigh muscles tighten. Raise your arms. When you're really good, your balance won't even need your arms to be up.
